Houses 2 Homes
MAON is pleased to be involved in Houses 2 Homes (H2H). We were instrumental in developing the concept and pioneering H2H. This pathway programme with TREES Services enables veterans to come together to honour the covenant between them and their community by transforming houses into homes for veterans and their families through employment with training.
Anyone who served in HM Armed Forces at any time, irrespective of length of service (National Servicemen and Reservists) is eligible to apply to House 2 Homes.
Houses 2 Homes (H2H) Project in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire
H2H Mansfield is the first initiative in the country. We began in May 2012 to transform 7 houses into homes for veterans with the help of ex-service personnel. Over the next 12 months each veteran will work towards achieving a nationally recognised apprenticeship while advancing their community’s prosperity and creating homes for veterans and their families.
